Dragon Energy

Our Markets

Who We Serve

Dragon Energy delivers geothermal across five distinct market segments - each with its own ownership structure, financing path, and incentive mechanism.

By Entity Type

Built for every type of building owner.

Geothermal economics differ by ownership structure. Here's how the incentive stack works across each segment.

Residential

Homeowners

Geothermal delivers year-round comfort, dramatically lower energy bills, and a system built to outlast your mortgage. The heat beneath your property is your most reliable energy source.

Commercial

Commercial Buildings

Office, retail, and mixed-use properties face unpredictable energy costs that erode margins year over year. Geothermal replaces that variability with a fixed, stable thermal load.

Public Sector

Schools & Municipalities

Public institutions carry the stewardship of taxpayer dollars alongside a mandate for reliable, affordable facilities. The §6417 Direct Pay provision means no tax liability required.

Industrial

Industrial Facilities

Manufacturing plants and distribution centers carry some of the highest thermal loads of any building type - making geothermal's stable output an ideal match.

Drilling Capabilities

We get into places others can't.

Dragon operates compact, track-mounted drilling equipment specifically designed for constrained access situations. Full-size rigs require open staging areas, clear overhead access, and substantial ground clearance. Our equipment doesn't.

We work on urban infill lots, within active building footprints, through narrow corridors, on sites with occupied adjacent structures, and in locations where a standard drill rig would never fit. If the geology is there, we can typically find a way to reach it.

Track-Mounted Equipment

Low ground pressure. Works on soft or uneven terrain.

Compact Footprint

Fits through standard commercial doorways and narrow lots.

Urban & Occupied Sites

Minimal disruption to active operations during drilling.

Within Building Footprint

Interior slab drilling capability for select applications.
